Cimpress Participates in a Software Engineering School Annual Forum in Tunis
This past November the 4th Vistaprint (and parent company Cimpress) was part of the 10th annual National School of Computer Sciences (ENSI) Annual Forum on the Campus of Manouba. The ENSI students’ organization called Junior Enterprise organizes the event each year.
This event’s main goal is to partner with companies working in the ICT sector in order to introduce them to the students. It represents a perfect opportunity for students to look for final year internships which are required for their graduation, and even more important for future employment.
The day started at nine in the morning and the Vistaprint team started greeting curious students stopping by the booth. Alexandru Chirita and Narjess Saya, Cimpress Senior Recruiters, answered the students’ questions about Cimpress, our new projects and the various graduation internship opportunities for engineering students.
He spoke to the difference between Vistaprint and Cimpress, discussed our strategy, unique model, products, technology and our market leadership position and then finished the presentation by introducing our new colleague Maha, who just graduated from the ENSI. Maha shared her graduation internship experience at Cimpress with the attending students.
The journey closed with a workshop Cimpress held for students. Boulbeba Mallouli, Lead Software Engineer, spoke about Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment concepts and it proved to be a very engaging topic for software engineering students. Workshop attendees asked questions to understand features and why and how actually companies integrate them in their business. Imed, Boulbeba and Amine Trabelsi, Manager, Technology, joined in to answer questions and provide clarity.
Throughout the day, students received insight about our company and information on the amazing opportunities available. Our team also had the change to meet future-grads engineers with new ideas and fresh minds so the event was a success all around. We were happy to showcase Cimpress as a great place to work in the Tunisian market.
